About Us
The Site...
The idea for HauntedWisconsin.com began in 1998 after viewing several haunted attraction directory Web sites. Most of the sites had listings for haunted attractions throughout the entire U.S. and provided little information. The information that was provided was usually out-of-date and had no contact information.
After some time considering the idea of running a state-wide haunted directory,
HauntedWisconsin.com was on the Web in the summer of 2000. At that time,
our only goal was only to provide up-to-date information on haunted houses in Wisconsin.
Since that time, the site has grown considerably and not only provides haunted house
information, but also lists many other Wisconsin Halloween events such as home haunts,
corn mazes, trails and hayrides.
Our current goal is to provide thorough up-to-date information on all Wisconsin Halloween
events and help keep Halloween alive in Wisconsin. We've done this not only by expanding
the types of Halloween events we list, but by also providing a listing of pumpkin patches,
trick-or-treat dates, times and safety tips, visitor submitted reviews and hundreds of links
to Halloween news articles and other Halloween Web sites. We continue to work on improving
the functionality and information we provide and always appreciate visitor feedback.

The Staff...
Andy and Jennifer Meier are the husband & wife team who started Haunted Wisconsin. To help them with the site and the new Review Crew, an additional member, Dan, has been added to the staff.

Andy is the brains behind all of the
programming and code that goes into the site. He's a busy I.T. guru but still manages to work on Haunted
Wisconsin along with his moms antique shops Web site, SharonShops.com
and his uncle's Web site, Highway Ryderz.com.
Jennifer (a.k.a.: webmistress) deals with all of the content, updates, e-mails, advertising and the rest of what goes into the site. She LOVES to decorate the house for Halloween and manages to sneek more Halloween decorations into the house every year.
The new member to our team is Dan (a.k.a.: Lysergicerberus, a.k.a Grandpa) who helps with the Review Crew, advertising and anything else that is demanded of him.
